About Mchana Estate & Karindundu Factory
Mchana Estate is one of the largest coffee farms operated by Kofinaf Company Limited, located near Nairobi and the Ruiru region.
The coffee is harvested during two major seasons, while the slow fruit development — approximately 9 months from flowering to full ripeness — contributes significantly to the coffee’s exceptional complexity.
Only fully ripe red cherries are selected, allowing the production of specialty-grade lots with outstanding sweetness and cup clarity.
The farm follows strict hygiene standards and carefully managed drying and conditioning processes to preserve consistency and quality.
